    Having worked in hospitality since 1988, in England and abroad, Edward joined Clubland in 2001 as Restaurant Manager at The Naval and Military Club before moving to Boodle’s as House Manager in 2004. In 2017, he took over the running of The City of London Club. In 2013 Edward started the CCM Pathway and have completed 4 stages to date.

    Adam is the General Manager at Sunningdale Golf Club, having worked in the club industry in various management positions for over 15 years. In 2018, having studied on the CMAE’s Management Development Programme and attended the CMAA World Conference, he achieved the CCM qualification. He is also a qualified Golf Professional and a Member of the PGA. He joined the Board of CMAE England in 2019.

    Catherine became the first female Secretary of one of the world’s most prestigious private members’ clubs in January 2021 – The Athenaeum in London. Since her graduation in hospitality in Ireland and further studies at international institutions, Catherine gained extensive experience in all areas of hospitality before joining her first club, the Kildare Street and University Club as their Club Secretary nine years ago.

    With a background in kinesiology and education, Brad joined the golf industry in 2007 after moving to the UK from his native Canada. He started the CMAE educational pathway in 2021 and swiftly completed his diploma in Club Management a year later. In March 2024, Brad left his role as Director of Golf at The Grove to become Managing Director at the National Golf Centre at Woodhall Spa. Brad heads up CMAE England's educational arm and is a firm believer in the educational pathway available to club leaders of both the present and future.

    Mike heads up our Young Managers' Group and has made remarkable progress since starting his career at The Grove. Over eight and a half years he rose to Head Professional, before joining Bearwood Lakes as Director of Golf in 2019. A graduate in Sports Management from Bournemouth University (1st class Honours BSc), Mike has a passion for learning and regularly attended CPD courses around the world.

    Having studied Golf Management (BA Hons) and Sports Business Management (Masters), Mark has specialised in golf, with roles at Wallasey Golf Club and Royal Lytham and St Anne's before moving to Fairhaven in his native Southport. He is passionate about delivering impeccable customer service and consumer experience for members and visitors. Mark joined the CMAE England Board in 2023 to help with the network's expansion in the north of the country.

  • Heather Moran

    La Moye Golf Club

    Originally hailing from Ireland, Heather spent the early part of her career working in portfolio compliance and credit risk management in Dublin, before becoming clubhouse manager of Hale Golf Club in Manchester. She joined La Moye Golf Club in the same role in 2019, before earning promotion to GM in June 2023. Heather joined the CMAE England Board in 2024.

  • Matt Mayfield

    Harewood Downs Golf Club

    Matt has been in the golf industry since 2009, having graduated from Leeds University. He had management roles at Forest Hill Golf & Conference Centre and Crown Golf before joining Harewood Downs in Buckinghamshire in 2019. Matt joined the CMAE England Board in 2024.
